Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking Soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Frosting
1 package (8 oz) Cream Cheese
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons softened butter
1 pound bag powered sugar

Cookies:
Throw all ingredients (except 1 cup flour) in mixing bowl together.

Add remaining flour if needed. Roll out on floured surface about 1/8 inch thick.

Bake at 350º for 9-10 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE! If the first batch is too crispy: roll thicker. If the first batch is too doughy: roll thinner.

Frosting:
Throw all ingredients together in bowl and mix. (Save powdered sugar for last...may need less than recipe calls for.) MAKES TWO COOKIE BATCHES WORTH OF FROSTING.

A lady named Stacy Lunsford in Kent 1st Ward gave me this recipe. It is a light and fluffy cookie. We have used it for years. It is our Christmas cookie recipe for Santa (if there is any left over for him).
