1 C Shortening
2 C Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Nutmeg
2 Eggs
2 C Drained Crushed Pineapple
2 C Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
3 C Oatmeal
1 C Chopped Nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream 1 C shortening, 2 C sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, and ½ tsp nutmeg. Beat in 2 eggs. Stir in 2 C drained crushed pineapple. Add 2 C flour, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder and beat. Add 3 C oatmeal and 1 C chopped nuts. Drop by spoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes.
If cookies spread out, add a little more flour.
