2 lb flour
3 eggs
Juice of 1 lemon
Rind of 1 lemon
1 1/4 c powdered sugar
1/4 lb almonds, blanched and ground
1 lb butter

Directions:
Directions:

Cream butter and add sugar, almonds and lemon. Then add 1/2 beaten eggs and 1/2 flour and then again eggs and work in the rest of the flour. Let stand overnight and then cut slices off the mass and roll out the cut into shapes and bake at 350* until slightly tan about 8 minutes
