Directions:Slice the bread horizontally and vertically into 1 inch cubes, leaving the bottom of the loaf intact and the bread pieces still attached. Slice cheese thinly Combine red pepper flakes with chopped chives in a small bowl Lay the bread on a large piece of foil- large enough to entirely wrap the bread Gently stuff the cheese into the vertical slices first and fill in the spaces between the horizontal cuts. Add the red pepper flakes and chives next to the cheese in the bread. Preheat oven to 350º. Melt butter over medium heat. Stir in garlic, reduce to medium low heat and let the garlic cook in the butter for 2-3 minutes. Spoon the garlic and butter into the bread between the bread slices. Brush the top of the bread with melted butter/garlic mixture. Wrap the loaf in tin foil. Bake for 20 minutes, unwrap the top and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is completely melted and the top of the bread is crispy. Sprinkle with Parmesan |
