3 tbsp warm water- not hot
½ tsp light corn syrup
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

gel food colouring

Directions:
Directions:
In a deep bowl, add meringue powder and warm water
Beat for about 1 minute until you have a white frothy mixture
Add sugar corn syrup and vanilla starting at medium speed and increase to high speed
Continue mixing until your icing becomes thick and peaks start forming- usually about 5 minutes on high speed.
The icing should have the consistency of tooth paste.
note: if its too thick, you can add a little bit of water to thin it out- use a tiny amount at a time.
Use a tooth pick to add your food colouring and mix with a spoon to blend in.

This icing dries very quickly when exposed to air. Make sure to store in a container that has a tight lid and cover the container with saran wrap.
Should use it immediately but it can last up to 1 week as long as its well sealed.
