Bread Pudding
1 long French loaf
3 1/2 c. Milk
2 c. Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 c. Raisins
1 small can pineapple
4 Eggs


Whiskey Sauce
1/4 lb. Butter
1 c. Sugar
1/2 T Lemon Juice
Dash of vanilla
5 oz. Whiskey (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Chop bread and add milk and let soak.
Add all other bread pudding ingredients and stir gently.
Place in 9x12 baking dish and bake for 45 minutes.

Simmer all whiskey sauce ingredients except the Whiskey in a saucepan. Once sugar is dissolved, remove from heat. Stir in the whiskey and ladle over servings of the bread pudding.

Before there were many restaurant options in McKinney, the Thedfords frequented Fishmongers in Plano often. We finally got the recipe for their delicious dessert from the owner.
