1 lb butter
1 c sugar
6 egg yolks (save whites)
Squeezed juice from 1/2 lemon
1 whole lemon rind, grated
2 tbsp whiskey
6 c flour
2 c finely ground nuts
3/4 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
All ingredients must be at room temp. Mix softened butter, sugar and egg yolks plus whole egg and lemon juice, rind and whiskey. Add flour and mix. Roll out on floured board to 1/2 in thick. Cut white small cookie cutters. Mix ground nuts and sugar together. Beat two egg whites lightly. Dip top of coolie in egg white, then in nut mixture. Bake at 325* for 20 to 25 minutes on lightly greased pan
