FOR 9" PIE.

3 EGG YOLKS, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
1 CUP SUGAR
1 CUP RAISINS (I LIKE TO GRIND MINE IN A FOOD GRINDER)
1 ½ CUPS SOUR CREAM
1 TSP CINNAMON
¼ TSP NUTMEG
¼ TSP GROUND CLOVES

Prepare a single crust baked pie shell.


Combine ingredients in saucepan and cook until mixture is thickened. Pour into pie shell. This pie can either be served with meringue (see this section), or served with whipped cream.

This is probably one of the richest pies i've ever tasted, but it's so worth it. I don't care for the plumped raisins, so i grind them. You wouldn't even know there are raisins in it except for the name.
