6 CUPS PEELED AND SLICED APPLES
¾ TO 1 CUP SUGAR
3 TBSP FLOUR
¾ TSP CINNAMON
1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
2 TBSP BUTTER OR MARGARINE

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º. Prepare crust for 9" double crust pie. Combine apples, lemon juice, sugar, flour and cinnamon. Toss lightly. Pour into pastry-lined pan. Dot with butter. Top with other crust; seal and flute edge. (before baking, cover edges of crust with aluminum foil. Remove after 20 minutes of baking.) Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until juice is bubbly in center.
