2 c white sugar
1 c sour cream
2 oz (2 squares) unsweetened chocolate, chopped
½ tsop salt
2 tbsp light corn syrup
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
½ c chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 9” square brownie pan. Combine sugar, sour cream, broken chocolate, salt and syrup in a 2 qt saucepan. Cook over medium low heat, stirring until dissolved. Heat to boiling, cover and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover and. Cook to the soft ball stage of 238º on an instant read thermometer, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla, let cool to lukewarm (110º) without stirring. Then beat vigorously until creamy and it loses it’s gloss. Add chopped walnuts and pour into buttered pan. Cut into squares and serve.
