12 egg yolks
1/2 lb sugar (1 1/4 c)
1 quart light cream
1 bottle (750 ml) dark rum
1 quart heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
Beat 12 egg yolks with the sugar mixture until thick and pale yellow. Stir in the light cream and the rum. Chill three hours. Next whip the heavy cream until stiff. Pour the rum mixture into a punch bowl and fold in the cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Makes 24 punch cup servings.

We found this recipe in the mid 1980's on a Bacardi flyer. We made it faithfully most Christmas' for the first 10 plus years.

We also nicknamed this recipe, heart attack eggnog
