2 TBSP CORNSTARCH
½ CUP SUGAR
DASH SALT
1 CUP HOT WATER
2 TSP GRATED LEMON PEEL
2 TBSP LEMON JUICE
2 TBSP BUTTER OR MARGARINE

ORANGE SAUCE:
SUBSTITUTE ORANGE JUICE FOR WATER AND ORANGE PEEL FOR LEMON PEEL. OMIT LEMON JUICE.

Directions:
In medium saucepan, combine cornstarch with sugar and salt; blend in water. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and is clear and slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Stir in lemon peel, juice and butter. Serve warm or cool.
