¾ C butter
2 C sugar
4 eggs
3 C flour
½ t allspice
½ t cinnamon
½ nutmeg
1 C buttermilk
1 t soda
⅔ C cherry preserves
⅔ C apricot preserves
⅔ pineapple preserves
1 C chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add sugar to butter and cream. Add 4 eggs and beat well. Sift together flour, allspice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add 1 t of soda to 1 C of buttermilk. Alternate with dry mixture. Fold in cherry preserves, apricot preserves, pineapple preserves, and nuts. Bake for 1½ hours in angel food cake pan at 325º. Be sure temperature is correct as cake may fall in center.
