2 c, sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or margarine softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sifted confectioner's sugar
2 tbsp. light cream (half & half)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350

Mix flour and salt, set aside

In a large bowl, beat on medium speed mixer, butter, shortening, sugar, cream and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. Stir in flour and mix well. Add nuts.

Drop by rounded teaspoons - 2" apart on cookie sheet, Bake 15 - 20 minutes.
