1 LARGE HEAD OF LOOSE LEAF LETTUCE OR GREEN OF YOUR CHOICE
5 STRIPS BACON
6 TBSP. RED WINE VINEGAR
6 TBSP. WATER
3 TBSP. BROWN SUGAR
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE

Directions:
Clean greens and tear into bite-size pieces. Place in a large bowl. Combine vinegar, water, sugar and salt and pepper. Chop bacon and fry until crispy. Remove bacon to paper towel and let drain. Immediately stir liquids and pour into hot bacon drippings. Be careful of the steam. Quickly pour over greens. Stir greens with tongs. Garnish with bacon bits.
