Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients and cut in shortening. Add egg and canned milk. Mix well and roll into long roll and chill. Then take enough to make small pies. Roll each piece into a circle, fill center of circle with pie filling and then fold into a half moon shape. Crimp edges to seal and fry in hot grease. Drain on paper towels. I loved Meme's fried fruit pies when I was a girl growing up. Such a treat.
