1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. honey
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Flour to make a dough

Mix together and bake at 350º 5-7 mins. Spread jam between cookies while still warm. This was Maria Keothler's recipe. I used to go to her house in Chilliwack, B.C. when I lived in Washington. She was an excellent cook!
