2 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1 c. water
Cook to soft ball stage the add:
2 c. nuts
Cook to crack stage then take off heat and add:
3 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. butte

Directions:
Directions:
Cook between crack and hard crack stage. Butter jelly roll pan and pour brittle into it. Take fork and pull the edges to thin out pile of brittle. Butter the top and let cool where you can handle brittle with your hands. Break brittle into pieces. This was Sis. Phyliss Hargrave's recipe.
