3 1/2 to 4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 container cottage cheese (16 oz)
5 eggs beaten
1 tbsp oil
3 qt water
1 tsp chicken base
3 tbsp. chicken base
1 container sour cream (8 oz)
1 pt cream
2 tbsp. butter
5 potatoes diced (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and half cottage cheese.
Add salt and flour until stir and let rest.
bring water to boil, add 1 tsp chicken base and oil.
Add potatoes and cook 10 minutes.
cut dough into small pieces into water.
Cook until the float.
Drain and save 2 cups water.
Put knoephla in a large roaster.
Mix the 2 cups water, butter, cream, sour cream, and the rest of cottage cheese.
Pour over knoephla.
Cover and bake at 350º F for 45 minutes.
Optional: Sprinkle with bread crumbs browned in butter.
Bake uncovered an additional 30 minutes.
