1 9" pie shell
1 C sugar
3 Tbsp corn starch
1/8 tsp salt
3 Tbsp white corn syrup
1 C water
3 Tbsp strawberry flavor gelatin
1 Quart strawberries washed and hulled

Directions:
Directions:
Prick pie shell with a fork and bake in a pre-heated 450ºF oven about 12 minutes. in a small sauce pan over medium heat combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, syrup, and water. Stir and cook until mixture thickens; about 5 minutes. Add gelatin and blend. Cool. put berries into cooled, baked pie shell. Spoon gelatin mixture between berries. Chill thoroughly. Serve with whipped cream

My Dad loves strawberries and every summer we would go with my Mom to pick fresh strawberries up at our lake house. We would then make this pie, which is really fresh and tasty.
