½ c. butter
1 c. rice
1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
¼ tsp. basil
¼ tsp. oregano
¼ tsp. thyme
¾ c. chopped green onions (or sliced water chestnuts)
2 - 10 oz. cans chicken broth
¾ c. slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
In large pan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in rice, mushrooms, seasonings and onions. Cook, stirring until onions and mushrooms are tender, about 5 min. Spoon mixture into greased 2 qt. casserole dish. Cool and pour in the broth and almonds. Bake @325º for 1 hour or until moisture is absorbed.
