2 T cream cheese
1 t milk
½ c powdered sugar
2 T crushed peppermint candy
Red food coloring

1 c butter
½ c powdered sugar
1 t vanilla
2½ c flour

¼ c powdered sugar
6 T crusted peppermint candy

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and milk. Cream until well mixed. Add crushed candies and a drop or 2 of food coloring. Mix well and set in frig to chill.
Cream butter add powdered sugar until well combined. Mix in vanilla. Stir in flour. Knead until soft and pliable. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls into balls . Make a deep well in center with the handle of a wooden spoon. Fill with ¼ t of filling. Make a flat circle with ¼ t of dough and cover filling pressing lightly to seal edges. Bake at 350º for 12 minutes. Cool slightly and roll in mixture of crushed peppermint candies and powdered sugar.
