½ c butter
¼ c shortening
1 egg
2 egg yolks
1 c sugar
2 t vanilla
½ t baking powder
2½ c flour

½ c powdered sugar
2 T cocoa
1 T melted butter

¼ t almond extract
½ c chocolate chips
2 t shortening
½ c white chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and shortening to combine. Add egg, egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, baking powder, and salt. Beat until creamy. Stir in flour until well combined. Place ¾ c in small bowl and add powdered sugar, cocoa and melted butter. Mix well. Shape into 30 balls. Set aside to chill.
To remaining dough add almond extract. Divide into 30 portions. Shape around chilled chocolate balls. Place 2 inches apart on parchment paper lined sheets. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes. Melt remaining chips each in a separate ziploc bag. Add 1 T of shortening to each and mix well. Drizzle melted chocolate over warm(not hot) cookies.
