1/2 c. margarine
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, separated
2 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. soda
1/2 t. cinnamon
2 t. baking powder
2 c. finely chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Mix margarine, sugar and egg yolks together. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, apples and nuts. Fill muffin tins 3/4 full and bake at 400 40 20-25 minutes.
