Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jello Gelatin, any flavor
1 c. boiling water
½ c. cold water
1 c. vanilla ice cream, or your favorite flavor
1 c. canned fruit, drained (fruit cocktail, sliced peaches, or mandarin oranges)

Directions:
Directions:
1. First dissolve gelatin with boiling water in an 8 or 9 inch metal square pan. (The pan helps the gelatin cool faster.) Then remove ½ cup and pour into a bowl. Add ½ cup cold water to the gelatin in the pan and place in the freezer until it thickens- 10 to 15 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, add 1 cup ice cream to the gelatin in the bowl; stir until smooth. Remove thickened gelatin from the freezer and, if desired, stir in fruit, reserving a few pieces for garnish.
3. Spoon thickened gelatin and fruit into individual dessert glasses.
4. Top with ice cream/gelatin mixture. Chill 30 minutes. Garnish and serve.
