Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Meatloaf:
1 lb. ground beef
bread crumbs (optional)
½ c. onion
1 egg
salt and pepper

Sauce:
2 small cans tomato sauce
½ can of water
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

When Mom gave me this recipe she just said meat, bread crumbs, onion, egg, salt and pepper. No measurements at all. As a rule I usually use ½ c. of onion per 1 lb. of meat. When I make meatloaf I double and sometimes triple the recipe, and I also make 1½ of the sauce.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all meat ingredients and pat into loafs. Bake at 350º for one hour. Meanwhile mix all ingredients for sauce. After one hour of baking remove from oven and drain grease off. Pour sauce over meatloaf and cook an additional 30 minutes. Then serve!
