1 pound dried lasagna noodles
16 ounces ricotta cheese
1 egg
3/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c shredded Parmesan cheese
1 tbls dried oregano
16 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
1 recipe of meat sauce (see recipe in this book or use your favorite)

Preheat oven to 375º

Combine ricotta, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, and oregano. Stir together well. Mix shredded Parmesan and mozzarella together and set aside.

Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.

To assemble the lasagna, pour 1 to 1 1/2 c sauce in the bottom of a 13x9 baking dish. Place an even layer of cooked noodles over the sauce. Evenly pipe out or dollop out half of the ricotta mixture. Sprinkle 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese evenly. Pour another layer of sauce and repeat with noodles, ricotta, mozzarella, and sauce.

Distribute the last 1/3 of the mozzarella on the last layer of sauce. Cover loosely with aluminum foil lightly sprayed with cooking spray.

Bake for 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 25 minutes.
