Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 Cups crushed pretzels (I prefer the sticks)
¼ Cup sugar
1½ sticks of butter (12 Tbl) plus 1 Tbl. for greasing pan

½ Cup sugar
8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
8 oz. Cool Whip

6 oz. strawberry jello
16 oz. frozen strawberries (can be thawed and cut into small pieces, depending on the brand you buy. If you can find the strawberries in syrup, that's better but hard to locate)
2 Cups boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Lightly grease 13x9 glass dish.
Crush/chop pretzels into small pieces and put in medium bowl. Add sugar. Melt butter, pour over pretzels and mix well. Press into bottom of glass dish to form an even layer crust. Bake for 18 minutes and allow to cool.

When the crust has cooled, mix cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip and pour/spread over crust. Cover dish and refrigerate for a couple hours until semi-set.

Boil water, measure 2 cups into a bowl and add Jello, stir until totally dissolved. Add frozen strawberries (instead of cold water, as you'd normally do to Jello). and allow to cool slightly. Pour over cream cheese layer, distributing fruit pieces as needed.

Cover and cool until completely set, a couple hours or overnight.

Personal Notes:
This is another family favorite that can be a side the kids love, or a dessert. The sweet/salty tastes are great together.
