⅓ c. melted butter
½ c. brown sugar
1 T. white syrup
⅔ c. pecans or walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine melted butter, brown sugar, syrup, and nuts and put in bottom of 9X13 pan. Place rolls flat in prepared pan and let rise and bake. If you don't make your own rolls use frozen cinnamon rolls.

My Mom (Grandma Rubbert) always made caramel cinnamon rolls and brought them for us for Christmas morning and other times during the year. I haven't been able to find her recipe (a lot of her recipes were just in her mind and not written down which I think was the case with the caramel sauce.) I found this recipe in a Farm Paper, probably Capper's Weekly and thought it was close to her recipe.
