Ingredients: 1 angel food cake 2 pkgs. strawberry junket pudding 3 cups cold water 2 pkgs. frozen strawberries Cool Whip

Directions: |
Directions:Break cake into pieces and put in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Cook pudding with cold water. Bring to boil and cook for 1 minute. Partially thaw strawberries and mix in there pudding mixture, while it is hot. Pour over the cake in the pan and let cool. Top with Cool Whip when serving. |

Notes: This has to be my all-time favorite dessert from growing up. This was a summertime staple in our house!!! I remember helping Mom cut up the angel food cake (and eating a few pieces along the way) and waiting for the dessert to "set." Many times, I was able to help whip the cream (with an old fashioned egg eater) for the perfect topping! It didn't matter whether we used strawberries or raspberries...it was the most refreshing and fun dessert ever!!! (Jana)
This is one of my favorite desserts. It absolutely has to have home made whipped cream. No canned stuff. What I like about it is the mixture of the tang of the strawberries, the sweetness of the junket pudding and the texture of the angle food cake. (Steve)
