Crust:
1 and 1/4 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened

Filling:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 tsp almond extract
3/4 cup fruit preserves (I use strawberry or raspberry)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and flour 9x9 pan. Combine crust ingredients and beat at low speed until crumbly. Press crust into pan and press down. Bake 15-20 minutes until edges are browned.


Combine filling ingredients except the preserves and mix until crumbly. Spread preserves over crust, not all the way to edges though. Then put filling mixture over preserves. Bake 20-22 minutes.
