2# diced hash browns, thawed if frozen
1 can cream of chicken soup
½ c melted butter, divided
12 oz sour cream
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
1t salt
⅓ t black pepper
¼ t garlic powder
1 small onion, diced
2 c crushed corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix ¼ c melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, diced onion, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic salt together. Add hash browns and mix well.

Put into buttered 9x13 pan. Mix remaining ¼ c melted butter with crushed corn flakes. Sprinkle over hash brown mixture.

Bake, covered, at 350º for 45 minutes. Then uncover for 15 minutes longer.
