1 cup milk
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup sour cream
3 Tbs shortening or oil

3 cups flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp grated orange peel ( or lemon)
1 pkg yeast
1 egg

After cooking roll in:
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Preheat 375

In medium saucepan heat first 4 ingredients until very warm 120-130 degrees (milk, water, sour cream & oil)
In mixer bowl add warm liquid 1 cup of the flour, oats, sugar, salt, orange peel, yeast and egg.
Beat 2 minutes at medium speed
By hand stir in remaining flour (2 cups)
On well floured surface kneed 5 minutes ( dough will be soft and sticky)
Place in greased bowl and cover with cloth
Let rise in warm place until light and double in size (45-60 minutes)
Grease 18 muffin cups
Punch down dough
Divide into 18 pieces - shape into balls - place in greased muffin cups and cover
Let rise until double in size 35-40 min

Bake in pre heated 375 oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes remove from pan
Roll warm rolls in butter cinnamon sugar mixture
