Mom's Sesame Chicken Recipe

1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup sesame seeds
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons sweet butter
2 whole boneless chicken breasts cut into strips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Whisk egg & milk in a small bowl until blended. Put bread crumbs, sesame seeds, salt & pepper in another bowl and twirl.
2. Dip chicken in egg, then bread crumb mixture. (Pat with fork to help the egg adhere.)
3. Put breaded pieces on plate with wax paper in fridge for 10 minutes.
4. In the meantime, heat oil & butter together, brown chicken breast 1-2 minutes each side. Drizzle with honey while cooking.
5. Lower heat to medium and cook pieces till tender, approx. 4-5 minutes each side.
7. Towards the end you may need to add water to keep it tender.

I always picture my Mom in the kitchen cooking up something for us. This was one of my favorites and while it seemed so gourmet as a kid, it is really easy to make! Hope you enjoy.
