12 c. cooked and sliced beets
2 c sugar
2 c vinegar
2 c water
2 tsp whole allspice
2 sticks cinnamon
1 tsp whole cloves
4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, water, and vinegar in a pot
Add spices to a cheesecloth bag and add to pot.
Bring to a boil and add beets. Simmer for 15 min.
Put in hot jars and seal. Process in water bath for 30 min.
