2-2 1/2 # of beef roast ⅜
1 white onion sliced thinly
1/2 c water
1/2 c red wine
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp marjoram
1tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper˝⅔

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all spices in a small and set aside
Place roast in the bottom of a crockpot.
Sprinkle the spices all over the roast turning and coat entire roast, top the roast with onions.
pour Water and wine into the bottom of the crockpot.

Cook on low in crockpot for 8-10 hrs or until the meat is falling apart.
When meat is done, shred gently and then toss in the juices to keep it moist.
