2 pounds hamburger
1 1/2 cup fresh or frozen chopped onion
15 ounce can tomato sauce
15 ounce can red kidney beans, drained
2 teaspoon chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
5 ounce packages read to eat taco shells
2 cups shredded cheddar or monterey jack cheese with Jalapeno
1/2 small head lettuce, shredded
2 medium tomatoes, cut into pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Cook hamburger and onion until beef is browned and onions are tender.
Stir in tomato sauce, kidney beans, chili powder, salt and pepper. Break each taco in half at fold. Arrange taco halves on bottom and up side of 9x13 pan.
Spoon meat mixture evenly over tacos.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake in 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Top with lettuce and tomatoes.
