1/2 cup butter- room temp
1&1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1&1/2 cups all purpose flour
1&1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup pecans
Icing
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup confectioners sugar

Directions:

In mixing bowl cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture mix well. Cover and chill for 1 hour
Pre heat oven 350
Form in 1” balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Lightly press with finger and put 1/2 tsp pecans. Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool
Icing— in saucepan cook 1 cup brown sugar and whipping cream on med/high
Bring to good boil stirring constantly. Take off heat add 1 cup confectioners sugar. Stir till smooth and drizzle over cooled cookies (work fast it will get hard)
