½ cup Butter, *browned & cooled with an ice cube
½ cup Brown Sugar
⅓ cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 tbsp Mexican Vanilla
1½ cup Flour
2 tsp Cornstarch
1 tsp Soda
¼ tsp Salt
1 cup Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream fat and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix in by hand the dry ingredients. Gently fold in chocolate chips. Chill dough for an hour. Form into balls. Lightly salt the tops. Bake at 350º for 12 minutes or whenever they are lightly browned and slightly undercooked. They will finish cooling on the pan. Makes 20 cookies.
