2 cups Flour
1 tbsp Ginger (ground)
2 tsp Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Salt
¾ cup Shortening
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
¼ cup Molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients well. Cream together shortening and sugar. Beat in the egg and molasses. Add dry ingredients. Shape into balls and roll into additional sugar. Bake on ungreased sheet at 350º for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned and cracked.
