4 egg yolks
1 cup superfine sugar
1 cup rum (optional)
2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream

Directions:
Cream together 4 egg yolks &1 cup sugar till light (2 minutes).

In separate bowl, beat 4 egg whites till stiff.

In separate bowl, beat 1 cup heavy cream till whipped.

Fold egg whites & whipped cream into the yolk mixture and sprinkle with nutmeg.
