1 3/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 stick butter at room temperature
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 package Hershey kisses or milk chocolate stars

Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. Using an electric mixer cream together the butter, peanut butter and both sugars. Add egg, milk, vanilla; beat until blended. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing thoroughly. Refrigerate dough for about an hour.
Preheat oven to 375. Spray, grease or line a cookie sheet with non-stick liner. Roll dough in 1 inch balls. Roll cookies in granulated sugar and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake until very light brown and puffed, around 10 minutes. Remove from oven and press a candy kiss or star into center of each cookie, allowing it to crack slightly. Allow to cool completely.
