2 C. sugar
2 C.flour
2 beaten eggs
2 tsp baking soda
1 C. chopped nuts
20 oz. Can crushed pineapple and juice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all at once. Bake in prepared jelly roll pan
about 30 min at 350º. Frost while warm.

Frosting:
1 stick oleo
1 tsp vanilla
8 oz. cream cheese
2 C. powdered sugar

Mix and spread over bars.Keep refrigerated since frosting is quite soft.
These also freeze well.

Cuts anywhere from 32-48.

I got this bar recipe from Darlys Stevens. The name is misleading as not at all like fruitcake. Texture is somewhat like cake but to me they are bars. Very good, quick and easy to make. I usually let the bars cool and then frost them.
