Chicken & Dumplings Recipe

2 Cans Chicken Broth
2 Bay Leaves
Dried onion for taste
Salt and Pepper
Chopped fresh or dried Celery (optional)
Bisquick baking mix

Add raw skinless chicken to your pot (can use a whole chicken cut up, half chicken, legs, thighs, breasts, etc)
Add chicken broth and then fill the pot with water to the level of 1 inches above the chicken in the pot.
Add salt/pepper and seasonings.
Boil for about 40 minutes.
Bring to a hard boil and add the dumplings made according to Bisquick recipe by adding milk.
After spooning dumplings on top of the boiling water, turn the boil down.
Boil uncovered for about 10 mins and covered for an additional 10 mins.
Add butter on top of dumplings prior to serving. (optional)
