Directions:
Directions:
Cut up the fruits and nuts, I cut all fruits in half with a scissors, for the nuts I use walnut pieces and go through them, if large I cut in half with a paring knife....this process takes the longest time, about 1 hour...
Put fruits and nuts in a large bowl and take 2 or 3 t and sprinkle over them, now toss fruits and nuts so that all have a thin coating of the flour, if you need more flour, take another t and add it and toss the ingredients once again, set aside...
In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar, add the eggs, 1 egg at a time, mix it in and add the rest of eggs the same way, 1 at a time...
Add vanilla, mix it in, add the flour that has been sifted with the baking soda to the creamed sugar and egg mixture...
Now add the fruit and nuts, a little at a time, do this with a wooden spoon or spatula mixing well...
Now add the whiskey and mix well, this mixture must be throughly mixed be fore placing in an angel food pan....

Bake 1 hour at 325, reduce heat to 275 and bake for another hour...
Check to be sure it is cooked through bu using a long toothpick, if is comes out clean, let it rest..
After cooling completely run a knife around outside and inside of cake, invert cake onto a plate and ENJOY...
