3 cups vanilla wafers

1 cup nuts ( not necessary)

1 cup powdered sugar

1 1/2 Tablespoon cocoa ( if desired)

3 Tablespoon light corn syrup

1/2 cup bourbon, rum brandy or orange juice

Directions:

Blend all ingredients well. Shape into balls; dust with powder sugar.

Let it dry on cookie sheet.

Mom loved making these because they had bourbon in them we could never have them in our childhood.

I tried making them a few years ago, and Uncle Dobbie and Grandma ate most of them!

Be care cause the Bourbon is pretty strong.
