2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1 cup milk


Options:

1) Cheese biscuits: add 1/2 cup shredded cheese with the flour
2) Herb biscuits: add 1 tsp herbs of your choice with the flour. I like to add rosemary, or Herbs de Provence

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450°.

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking power and salt. Using a pastry blender or a fork, cut in butter until consistency of course meal.

Add milk, stir with for JUST until a soft dough forms.

Drop the dough by tablespoons onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown.

These are super easy, quick to make, and turn out light and fluffy. Perfect for those meals where you suddenly find yourself with the rest of the meal almost done, but you decide you need some carbs, too. Who can resist biscuits?
