2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
4 cups flour
6 tsp baking POWDER
1 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
2 to 2 ½ cups walnuts, coarsely chopped
2 eggs
1 ½ cups whole milk
½ cup butter, melted
2 to 3 tsp vanilla
1 mashed up banana (optional)
Whipped cream cheese

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350º.
2. Grease with butter and spray the bottom and sides of two loaf pans.
3. In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly stir together the flour, baking powder, and salt, and then stir in sugar, then cranberries and nuts.
4. In a small mixing bowl, beat eggs slightly and add milk, butter and vanilla. Beat to combine.
5. Add egg mixture to flour mixture and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn into prepared pan.
6. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes until browned and a fork inserted in center comes out free of batter. If you add banana, it will bake for approximately 65 minutes.
7. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream cheese.
