2 sticks butter, at room temperature
1 ½ cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs, at room temperature
2 cups creamy peanut butter
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 ½ cups jam (e.g. strawberry, raspberry, grape)

1. Grease a 9x13x2 inch cake pan.
2. Using a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar on medium until light yellow, about 2 minutes.
3. Reduce speed to low and add vanilla, eggs, and peanut butter. Mix until well-combined.'
4. In a small bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Slowly add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture. Mix on low speed until just combined.
6. Spread ⅔ of the dough into the pan. Spread the jam evenly over the dough. Drop small globs of the remaining dough evenly over the jam. Don't worry if all of the jam isn't covered.
7. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes, until golden brown. Cool and cut into squares.
