1 box Betty Crocker white cake mix
3 eggs
1 tsp coconut flavoring
1 c water
½ c vegetable oil
1 c angel flake coconut
½ c chopped pecans

Frosting
½ c margarine
8 oz cream cheese
1 lb powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
½ c chopped nuts
1 c coconut
Directions:
Directions:
Spray 2 round cake pans with Pam. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Cool before releasing from pans to frost. Add frosting: mix all ingredients except coconut til smooth. Put frosting between layers and on top of cake (not sides). Add coconut on top of frosting (and between layers if you wish).

This is an ABSOLUTE FAVORITE at all pot luck dinners. At holidays I add colorful candies such as: little pumpkin shaped candies in fall, colorful jelly beans at Easter, broken up peppermint candies at Christmas, etc, etc.
